and many more ...

Help celebrate Earth Day by restoring riparian habitat along Hanson Creek at Northern State Recreational Area County Park. We will be planting native trees, removing invasive plants and other related tasks. Enjoy refreshments and creative activities for all ages.

Starbucks will also sponsor this event with their "Make Your Mark" program where registered volunteers earn $10/hr contribution to the Skagit Parks Foundation! Don't forget to sign up at your nearest Starbucks any time after March 10th. You do need to sign up prior to this event.

Give a Day, Get a Disney Day Hands On Network and Disney Parks are celebrating the power of volunteerism with a new program called “Give a Day, Get a Disney Day.” Individuals and families who volunteer through this program will receive a free one-day ticket to a Disney Theme Park. Go to www.disneyparks.com and search for this Skagit Parks Foundation event and sign up to be eligible for a free Disney day!
We have already filled our 55 volunteer positions ...

Bring weather appropriate clothing, boots, gloves, water bottle and a friend! Tools will be provided.
