Pomona Grange 5-frame slide show |

Grange
Park has six picnic tables with pedestal BBQ's. There is a 20' by
30' covered picnic shelter with four picnic tables in it.
There are two trails. The first
trail is approximately 1/4 mile long and has 18 interpretative signs
of local plants and trees. The second trail, 1/8 mile long,
is
adjacent to Friday Creek and leads to the Washington State Fish
Hatchery.
A lot of people that live in the area tell me that they drive
by this park and think about having a picnic there someday. Many
people don’t know that this gem of a park has an interpretative
trail explaining a lot about the local flora and fauna. One of the
cedar nurse stumps has five species of trees growing from it. Also
the trail through the park has a footbridge that gives one access to
Friday Creek. In fall of the year, salmon can be seen spawning
there.
The trail can be hiked in under twelve minutes. Pomona Grange
Park is fewer than two miles off the freeway and is a great place to
stretch your legs after a long drive or hard day at the office.
