April 22, 2006,( Earth Day!), brought together volunteers comprised of Starbucks employees
and customers, Skagit Parks Foundation board members and Skagit
Parks and Recreation staff to plant
native trees at the Skagit Valley
Playfields. We planted over 100 native cedar, spruce, hemlock
and fir along with maple and cranberry. This event also marked
Starbucks "Adopt a Park" program for the Playfields.
