Starbucks volunteer trail builders

December 10, 2005, became another milestone date in community involvement. Volunteers comprised of Starbucks employees and customers, Skagit Parks Foundation board members and Skagit Parks and Recreation staff all gathered to build about a quarter mile of new trail connecting Sharpe Park with Montgomery-Duban Headlands Park. This trail traverses through pristine forest with views to Puget Sound and will be used for generations to come.

Gathering in the parking lot Starbucks provided hot coffee before starting out We honor Rick Machin for all he has given Ranger Lou shows where the trail will be built
